Industrial Unit – 10 Year Warranty – Roofing and Cladding

Client

186 Property Solutions provide a comprehensive building and development service from their Head Office based in Stockton-on-Tees. Covering the whole of the U.K. they offer property refurbishments, residential property renovations, commercial dilapidation work, residential and industrial property extensions, new build projects and maintenance packages including both planned and reactive works.

Challenge

The client had been approached with a request to protect and improve the overall appearance of three commercial units.

In total the area to be covered was 686 square metres consisting of four verticals on each unit. The client was very keen that the work came with a ten year warranty to achieve a good return on the intended work.

Response

New Guard were quick to visit the site to achieve a clear idea of the size of the task and that the clients expectations could be realised on this project.

In total three site visits took place to ensure that the work undertaken by 186 Property Solutions conformed to warranty specifications.

Paint System

Noxyde was the obvious choice with this being a typical two coat system. No mixing or induction time and easily applied to light rust for ultimate corrosion protection. With the added benefit of dry fall, the coating turns to powder before hitting the floor, reducing the risk of damage to nearby property.

Result

In total New Guard Coatings attended the site on three occasions during the application process, with the final visit being the presentation of the ten year warranty.

The result achieved by 186 Property Solutions left them at the forefront of New Guard Coatings mind so much so that, when later approached to recommend a supplier for a similar project we were happy to recommend them and introduce them to the prospective client resulting in further work.
